I had a lovely day learning Shoden Reiki 1with Maxine. Maxine is very knowledgeable and patient in her training. I felt calm throughout the day and I can now enjoy doing the self treatment meditation at home hoping in time I will feel energised and focused. I would highly recommend Maxine for her Reiki courses.

I have just completed my Shoden Reiki 1 course this weekend with Maxine. It was the most amazing mind blowing experience! Maxine is an excellent teacher, with a wealth of knowledge and experience and a wounderful calming healing energy. She is very profeshional and explained everything so well ensuring I fully understood what we were learning and was happy with what we were doing. The whole day was full of the most amazing inspiring moments and experiences, learning how to work with and feeling energy was mind-blowing. Experiencing empowerments was amazing and very different each one. Working with someone else to channel healing energy and recieving a wonderful treatment was so inspiring and relaxing experience with the wonderful result of loosing the pain i have had in my knee for weeks. I feel so energised, calm and focused since Saturday and am enjoying taking time out to do my self healing and meditation in preparation to do Level 2. I had a very enjoyable day doing the Level One course last week. Very calm environment, and everything was explained clearly - it really helped having the learning materials in advance, so I felt familiar with a lot of what we actually learned on the day. Maxine was lovely and welcoming and one of the most relaxed people I've met, even when I had a funny turn while giving my first treatment! My stress levels have been transformed! Maxines naturally calm and compassionate personality lends itself perfectly to Reiki. I can't thank her enough for helping me after what has been a turbulent few years, and I have definitely found a safe space to relax and have tools to help me day to day. Maxine also doesnt subscribe to the 'stereotype' of someone dealing with any kind of spirituality, so if that is something that puts you off, you will be super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Although I had been curious about the use of reiki as a treatment for personal well-being, as well as a complementary therapy that I could potentially use in my work as a mental health practitioner, it was a chance conversation that led me to Maxine of the Suffolk Reiki Company. Having heard a glowing report from my reflexologist who had taken one of Maxine’s training workshops, I promptly headed over to the website. From there, I discovered that Maxine also offered treatments to dogs and horses, as well as humans. Consequently, my first encounter with Maxine was when she came to work with my dear dog Louis. A thirteen-year-old rescue boy, my once lively pal had become increasingly anxious and unsettled since he had gone deaf, and I was out at work more. Just one session was enough to convince me that Maxine had a very special gift. There’s no placebo effect with doggos! Louis was instantly relaxed and receptive to the treatment, and after a few more sessions, my dear boy is more like his old self - playful, energetic, content, and much calmer than he has been for a long time. Since then, I have gone on to take my reiki level one training with Maxine. With the gentlest of encouragement, expert guidance, and Maxine’s warm teaching style, I have come away feeling more at peace in myself and inspired to share this wonderful healing modality with others. For anyone with an interest in reiki either for your wellbeing or to help others, I cannot recommend Maxine highly enough.
I had a bad fall over ten years ago and damaged my shoulder, which was still giving me discomfort all these years later. Maxine seemed to know where the problem was, I say "Was" because after just a couple of sessions, the pain has gone. I don't know what she did, all I can say is, she is very caring person and has a genuine gift. I could recommend her to even the biggest sceptic!
I have been having regular treatments with Maxine for several months and have also now completed reiki 1. Maxine has a beautiful calm energy, her treatments are deeply relaxing and healing and the training was very well delivered, informative and practical giving me the necessary knowledge and confidence to begin self practice in between treatments. I took my Reiki 1 with Maxine and can’t recommend it enough. If this is something you’re considering I urge you to go ahead! It was a relaxed but informative day which held space for open discussions, and I was left in awe of the energy felt that day. I highly recommend Maxine to horse owners! The effect her healing has had on my two mares has been profound. Both needed healing because of medical and emotional issues and I have been blown away by how Reiki has helped. One mare wouldn't break out of a walk when ridden and now we are back cantering on our rides. Being new to Reiki, I couldn't be more impressed, and I plan for Maxine to be a regular face at my yard 🥰

Loving Reiki with Maxine it is helping me deal with so many difficult times right now and gives me so much peace and healing. Today I feel so light and happy. Maxine is such a gentle, calming, professional and kind person she has helped me and my mum in law to create so much peace and comfort in our everyday. I like to take time out in my day to meditate on my own and Maxine has helped me to do that with so much more ease. I was unsure about Reiki but I’m more focused and clearer than I was and it has helped me heal after losing my mum last year and sharing this with my mum in law has gifted me a sense of peace, joy and strength in living that I thought I’d lost after losing my mum. I attended the Level 1 Reiki course with the Suffolk Reiki Company back in January and found the whole day to be wonderful. Maxine looked after me all day, whilst providing an informative training session in the reiki precepts and processes. The tuition was fabulous and the healing session was very relaxing. A wonderful day and I will definitely be returning to learn level 2.

Maxine has been an integral piece of helping to heal my horse Roman. I initially reached out to Maxine because I was having issues with him under saddle, although there were issues on the ground as well which stemmed from his separation anxiety. He would often rear, nap, plant, kick out and it was impossible to take him to competitions (although he presented the same behavior at home too). After exhaustively checking every possible physical cause, I was left with a very healthy horse who was just very stressed and all the traditional training methods I had tried had failed. I had heard of reiki before but always dismissed it as “not real medicine”. Of course, this was only based off of my preconceived notions and a lack of understanding. But since I was out of options, I reached out to the Suffolk Reiki Company and spoke with Maxine. She has been helping Roman for about two months now and has also supported us through the stress that can come with moving yards. The changes that I have seen in my horse have been incredible! He is now one of the most relaxed horses on the yard, jumping anything I point him at and he seems to have truly gained confidence. He hasn’t reared or napped in weeks! His personality develops more and more every day and he has quite the natural inquisitive nature! As someone who has struggled, feeling like they’re letting their horse down, I couldn’t be happier that Maxine has been working with my boy. It makes me so happy to see him so relaxed and content! If you’re interested even a little bit, I would highly recommend Maxine. Not only is her work fantastic but she is very professional and is such a kind person, I trust her completely with my horse.

Having completed a full course of REIKI with Maxine at the suffolkreikicompany i cannot speak highly enough of the experience i had.Having had three heart operations four years ago and walking on eggshells ever since i now have an inner calmness which has helped immensely to allay such fears ,also my sleeping pattern is now as it should be .All thanks to MAXINE and the power of REIKI
